ATCOM Job Description at a Glance:

  • Our client is one of the top-notch busiest private hospitals in Dubai, UAE is looking for specialized candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of a gastroenterologist. Gastroenterologist duties include consulting and diagnosing patients, inspecting internal organs through upper and lower endoscopic procedures, and consulting with patients’ primary physicians, among other duties. They are highly skilled specialists with a comprehensive understanding of all gastroenterological conditions and treatment options.Gastroenterologists should demonstrate good interpersonal skills as they will be required to attend to patient needs and consult with other consultants.DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITES
    Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns.
    Performing specialized tests to diagnose patients.
    Determining proper courses of treatment.
    Consulting with a patient’s primary doctor.
    Analyzing patient historical data.
    Consulting with other specialists, such as oncologists, in the case of cancer.
    Performing endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs.
    Performing X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.
    Performing surgery in the digestive tract.
    WORKING CONDITION
    Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
    Working Days: 6 Days / Week
    Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning AND Afternoon
    Contract Period 1 Year Renewable
    Family Contract: Candidate, Wife or Husband and 2 Kids
    On Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Primary Medical Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD); Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS); Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Equivalent from recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
    Training/Residency: completion of residency training in Internal Medicine
    Fellowship: Gastroenterology
    Clinic Experience: Recent 3 years’ experience as Consultant level
    Qualifications: Asian and Middle Eastern Qualifications are accepted
    License: DHA Licensed or DHA Eligibility Letter as Specialist or Consultant is a Must
    OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    Languages: English is a must
    Age not to exceed 55 years old
    Joining Date: Able to Join within 2 Months
    SALARY AND BENEFITS
    SALARY
    Gross Monthly Salary: 60,000 – 70,000 AED (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
