Zayed University Job Description at a Glance:

The College/Department
The College of Natural and Health Sciences (CNHS) invites applications for a part-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Nutrition related fields. Candidates should demonstrate a strong record of teaching. Adjunct positions are mainly teaching opportunities, but a position can also give opportunities to research in the areas of Public Health and Nutrition.
To be considered, candidates should complete an online faculty application by submitting a (1) curriculum vitae and (2) letter of interest describing teaching experience as well as teaching and research interests.
The Requirements
Candidates should be residents of the UAE. Candidates should have a PhD graduate degree from a recognized university at the time of appointment in in any of the areas of clinical nutrition, human nutrition, nutritional epidemiology and public health and nutrition. Previous teaching experience is an advantage as is evidence of teaching excellence with a student-centered and innovative approach. Experience in non-academic settings such as ministries, health promotion settings, health companies, hospitals, health and nutrition organizations, pharmaceutical companies, research institutes, or nutrition companies is an advantage.
