ORO24 DEVELOPMENTS LLC Job Description at a Glance:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Data Cabling Technician to join our growing IT Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data cabling infrastructure in our office environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a data cabling according to industry standards and best practices.
    Test and certify data cabling performance using industry-standard tools and procedures.
    Document cabling installations and maintain accurate records.
    Troubleshoot and repair existing data cabling infrastructure.
    Assist with the installation and configuration of network equipment.
    Manage and maintain patch panels, cable trays, and other cabling infrastructure components.
    Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
    Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    Complete additional tasks as assigned by the IT Infrastructure Manager.
    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IT Data Cabling Technician or related role.
    BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or equivalent certification preferred.
    Strong knowledge of data cabling standards and best practices, including ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.1 and BICSI standards.
    Proficient in the use of data cabling tools and equipment, including cable testers, strippers, crimpers, and patch panels.
    Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
    Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
    Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: Up to AED5,000.00 per month

    Ability to Commute:

    Dubai (Required)
    Ability to Relocate:

    Dubai: Relocate before starting work (Required)
