· Read previous reports, in ‘Operator reports logbook’. (During Shift startup)

· Have a discussion with previous shift operator regarding plant operation status, abnormal situations/events, equipment status, on-going maintenance, safety measures.

· Check physical status of equipment, sign the ‘Operator visit to equipment’ form attached to all major equipment’s and record – if any – abnormal situation in the ‘Shift defects reporting’ form and ‘Operator reports logbook’.

· Check ‘In-house maintenance schedule’ and performs due scheduled maintenance. If the equipment maintenance requires Client technician expertise, operator should assist as required.

· For any maintenance work in the plant fill appropriate work permit form and check related safety measures

· Check the water treatment chemicals tank levels and make-up as required.

· Chemical spills to clean as required.

· Empty chemical cans ha to put in a designated area and put barricade/signage.

· Check daily the conductivity, PH level and at least twice a week on the phosphonate level of CT water.

· Clean all equipment in regular intervals and keep the plant room neat and tidy. Housekeeping is a must!

· Follow the emergency response plan as per the site.

· Take parameter readings and register them in ‘Equipment parameters log sheet’.

· Daily report to scan and save to computer provided. (If applicable)

· Take utility readings and register them in the ‘Utility parameters log sheet.

· Utility readings, maintenance history and other documents required for monthly reporting should be entered in the computer provided.

· Check all the equipment oil level related.

· Perform monthly inventory of chemicals, first aid boxes, ladder inspection checklist and tools

· Report immediately to the site in-charge and supervisor for any unusual event or complain related to the plant.

· Monitor continuously SCADA/CMS automatically generated reports for data validity.

· In the end of the shift write ‘shift report’ in ‘Operation reports book’.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to AED1,500.00 per month
