• A Business Development Officer is responsible for generating new business, expanding the customer base, and increasing revenue by selling the company’s translation services to potential clients.

  To be successful in this role, a Business Development Officer should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, have strong organizational and time management skills, and be proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. Fluency in multiple languages and knowledge of different cultures and business practices may also be an advantage.

  Responsibilities

  – Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  – Identifying and contacting potential clients through various channels, such as email, phone, and social media.

  – Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing them with suitable solutions.

  – Negotiating and closing deals with clients, including the preparation of proposals and contracts.

  – Collaborating with the translation team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet clients’ expectations.
