KS Talent Solutions Job Description at a Glance:

    • Our Dubai based client, an award-winning boutique law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Compliance Officer KYC. The incumbent will be managing all regulatory and compliance obligations, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • Client On-boarding: Manage all aspects of client on-boarding, ensuring compliance with AML and KYC requirements.
      • Periodic Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of clients’ KYC in line with internal AML policies.
      • Coordination: Collaborate with client officers during the client lifecycle, both at onboarding and post-incorporation transaction reviews.
      • Compliance Projects: Support the implementation of new compliance projects for the firm or its group entities.
      • Regulatory Filings: Ensure timely filing of all applicable returns with regulators.
      • Training: Develop and deliver internal training on AML matters, keeping the team informed of policy changes, procedures, systems, and controls.
      • Policy Management: Review and update internal policies, procedures, and guidelines in response to changes in regulation or the introduction of new financial products or services.
      • Reporting: Regularly report on AML/CFT and compliance matters to the board.
      • Suspicious Activity: Receive and analyze internal suspicious activity reports, determining the need for submission to the UAE FIU.
      • Regulatory Liaison: Act as an authorized point of contact for the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

      QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

      • Compliance or KYC/AML-related qualifications or commensurate experience within a regulated industry.
      • Strong experience in KYC documents.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and precise advice.
      • Proven ability to establish working relationships with senior management, the firm’s board of directors, and relevant regulators.
