The Manager, Distribution Strategy is responsible for the support and execution of the Hyatt global distribution strategy. This person will work across Commercial Services (sales, revenue management, digital) and operations, on implementation of the distribution strategy, while also managing day-to-day operations with various distribution channels.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages relationships with distribution channels, ensuring alignment with the Global Distribution strategy

Assists in identifying new preferred distribution channels and their implementation

Identifies and implements tools and training which assist hotels in determining best in class channel mix to drive profitability and market share

Works with regional Revenue Management and Distribution Teams to understand the dynamics of

third-party distribution business and the contributing factors

Assists with new openings to ensure sound distribution principles are implemented from the start

Oversee and develop distribution content efforts, including internal newsletter, reference guides, POVs on new products, tactics, and other materials as needed

Help conduct hotel level training and assist in high level presentations about the organization including updates on the latest hotel openings, innovations, offers and overall direction of the company for distribution partners.

Support key company objectives that align with distribution strategy, including rate parity and compliance programs

Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt’s core values

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Distribution, Revenue Management, or 3rd party account management, preferably within the hospitality or travel sector

High degree of personal and professional savvy and experience which instills confidence among all internal and external audiences

Good corporate role model, proactive, fair and approachable

Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable in various cultures within the region, able to develop close communications and relationships with all EAME properties

Comprehensive knowledge of Hyatt corporate strategy, policies and procedures, standards of operation, philosophies, initiatives, systems, business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements

Translates business needs into what needs to get done; ensures that all work is completed effectively; monitors the progress of work against schedules; maintains high performance standard; works effectively by using a highly collaborative style; ability to work unsupervised

Proven experience in strategy activation and project management

Strong analytical skills including gathering, visualization and presentation of data
