Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health and your employment would be governed by New Consumer Health’s employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Aim of Job:
Provision of a Quality & Compliance service to the MENAP business units and includes relevant links to external licensing authorities, internal J&J quality standards and the J&J global quality systems and the J&J Quality & Compliance organization. This position also provides oversight and advice to the distributors used in different countries.
This person has the responsibility for ensuring that the appropriate Quality & Compliance standards and systems are implemented and maintained for the operation of the Johnson & Johnson MENAP operations. Also that all external suppliers and service providers are qualified and relevant agreements are in place with them.
Manage responsibilities within AMET and EMEA BQ as described below.
Duties & Responsibilities
Act as the point of contact for quality defects, customer complaints related to product defects, and manage them as per the Non-Conformance process. Also open CAPA’s (Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions) where necessary.
Maintain, and where necessary create and appropriate local operating procedures for all Q&C related processes and activities.
Maintain the company Quality Systems Manual, and make routine updates as necessary.
Provide QA input to new projects and concepts and approve any new product launched in the countries.
Provide QA input to sales and distribution activities.
To provide approval for finished put-up specifications and First Article Inspection for all new or modified products.
To ensure that the product has been developed in full compliance with applicable local requirements.
To support Marketing and SC in the qualification of promotional materials and approve the finished put-up specifications of customized items.
Coordinate the effective implementation of Q&C related changes.
Perform internal assessments to ensure the Quality Management System is effective, and seek continuous improvement of the system.
Ensure all external suppliers and service providers are qualified and relevant agreements are in place with them.
To prepare Quality System and metrics review on a regular basis.
To perform the Quality System Management Reviews as per schedule.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:
B.Sc. in Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy
6-8 years Quality experience. Knowledge of quality systems, audits, regulatory compliance.
Leadership Behavior (good people management skills)
Strong Quality background, able to give a pragmatic and consistent Quality perspective and to maintain a calm outlook at all times.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and completely fluent in English language
Good team-worker.
