  • Job DetailsWhat you will do
    Sales Support Engineer is the key role reporting to Sales Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi and support the Sales engineer to achieve the financial goals and targets. Being a Sales Support Engineer your role will include working with Outside Sales, Field Operations, Customer representatives, and technical services resources to ensure proposals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, adhering to JCI’s standards and specifications.

    How you will do it
    As a Sales Support Engineer, you will be the key point of contact between the sales team, operation, and the customer. You are passionate about HVAC Core (Service) system inquiries, follow up with the customers, generate the sales offer to the sales group by coordinating with the operation team and all related departments, creating the opportunity in the Sales force with all relevant details for easy tracking. Offers need to be generated throughout the SF (CPQ). Assistance sales engineer should assure all opportunity crafted is approved as per the DOA before releasing the offer to sales engineer.
    As a Sales Support Engineer you will be responsible to create proposal through CPQ / pricing tools / Service selection tool and collaborate with our local area team for on-site asset counts/site details, review and understand the PPM Reports and MRF for labor and material jobs, provide guidance on pricing and support in reviewing proposal prior to customer submission. You will evaluate terms and condition is as per JCI standards and assess Terms of Payment is in-line with JCI Standard.

    As a responsible Sales Support professional you will share Order Acknowledgement to our external partners and makes sure that all the internal approval process guidelines (DOA) are followed. You will collaborate with Sales Coordinators for bookings on our ERP systems and will handle the end-to-end tracking ie. From Lead identification to booking in ERP. You will connect with our outbound calling for follow up and collect & update all actions in SFDC
    You are a competent self-starter, problem solver, and data/analytics driven with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience combined with a customer-orientated attitude.

    You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending enlightening workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent
    Strong phone presence
    Ability to rapidly build knowledge of Johnson Control’s product lines
    Highly customer oriented, Quality focus and determined personality
