Jebel Ali School is a leading British Curriculum school in Dubai for students aged 3-18 years. Established in 1977, JAS has an enviable reputation for being a much loved community school centred around the ethos that our students never stop believing that better is always possible, Our aim is for each individual to belong, believe and become better than they thought they could.

Our campus contains state of the art facilities including a standalone Foundation Unit, Primary and Secondary Schools as well as some of the most impressive sports facilities in the city. Requirements

The successful applicant will:

Be a qualified English Teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or PGCE)
For this specific role, are looking for someone with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results, teaching this subject to GCSE and A Level
A full working knowledge of The National Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices
Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
Be available to join JAS in August 2023
