Our company is growing rapidly and is hiring for a mechanical supervisor. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities for mechanical supervisor

Inputs to project management, engineering, and construction to ensure startup requirements are incorporated into project activities, including review of project designs and construction to ensure plant operability and operating personnel safety
Hold a City & Guilds of a mechanical function
Have the ability to communicate well
Have strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results through teams
Required to attend and assist in derailments which includes the oversight of the re-railing process, participating in the root cause analysis and damage estimates to ensure all appropriate reports are created
Provide static maintenance support to the field operations to manage asset operation and ensure the set production target are met and safeguard technical integrity
Handling all types of works involved in predictive, preventive and emergency maintenance
Assist with resource forecasting
Have previous experience of working in the water and waste water industry
Ensure work is performed to CN
Qualifications for mechanical supervisor

Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or other related fields
Masters Degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or other related fields
Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, or related discipline, or completion of formal U.S. Government courses in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning as related to facilities and plant maintenance
A minimum of ten years experience in maintenance operations of large government or commercial facilities
Strong ability to perform well under pressure and in stressful situations and circumstances
Must display logistical thinking, critical thinking, multitasking skills, problem solving skills and decision making skills
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
