General information: The HR business partner HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. Acting as an employee champion and change agent, assesses, and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with HR and business management, seeks to develop integrated solutions. Formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The position will include international human resource responsibilities. Maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition. Responsibilities: HR process implementation: Managing processes for assigned area based on business guidance and HR Management instructions. Overseeing implementation of HR processes, succession planning, performance management, talent management, talent acquisition, remuneration, and other processes as applicable. Partnering with other colleagues within the immediate HR network to achieve targets through business and HR action plans. Using HR Services resources and provides feedback/input based on experiences into the development and/or the implementation of new or improved processes/products/services to support business strategies. Business strategic alignment: Participating in the definition of short and long-term business objectives and defines the local strategic HR priorities to support business strategy in alignment with HR policies and guidelines. HR solutions: Partnering with managers and functions in the area to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counseling business leadership on the most effective solutions to resolve issues and support long-term objectives. Representation: Representing HR in the business, builds partnerships between employees, HR, and Managers. Offering HR solutions and collects feedback for continuous improvement. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legislation and HR policies, and adherence to Occupational Health & Safety and compliance standards in all areas of responsibility. People leadership and Development: Ensuring that the area is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Safety and integrity: Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background: Bachelor or master’s degree in business Admin, Human resources or equivalent. Middle East experience is necessary. 8-10 years of Human Resources business experience in industrial sectors, preferably in power. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including talent management, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management. Customer and Business Acumen. Proven communication skills and Relationship management. Ability to consultation and HR expertise. Knowledge of global & cultural awareness. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
