Hitachi Rail STS is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Commissioning Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Abu Dhabi.

Role & Responsibilities:
to support the T&C Manager in any meeting with the Client and interfaced contractors
to report to the T&C Manager the progress of testing activities notifying any delays of commissioning activities and proposing recovery actions
To supervise the Hand Over process with Construction by reviewing HO documentation and arranging the needed inspections with Test Leads on the systems installed
To attend the internal Hitachi T&C coordination meeting with T&C Manager and T&C System Leads to collect the look-ahead of T&C works
To attend the coordination meetings with Client and other Contractors for the access to the track/facilities/loco/wagons as per the applicable CRO rules
To interface with ER for the PTW to access Stage 1 locations for migration and integration tests
To surveil and ensure that T&C site resources are trained/inducted on applicable HSE and CRO rules and equipped with required PPE
To superintend QC activities by:
coordinating the submittal of ITR for Witness Testing on Systems installed in its geography
coordinating the management of the Punch List opened during to – ensuring Configuration management is under control by systems
To ensure DRACAS process implementation on site during T&C
To coordinate the maintenance activities planned by systems as per applicable Installation Maintenance Plan and Manual
Job Requirements
Project Management, Commissioning Processes rules and standards, Testing, Maintenance, Railway Operations and Signaling principles.
HSE rules and standards
At least 5 year as T&C lead/supervisor of following systems: Signaling System
Strong fault finding skills highly desirable
Fluent English language (Arabic would be appreciated in addition).
Scheduling and organization, on site working (Health safety and environment).
Quality Control
Experience with test & commissioning and/or O&M of railway systems
Total experience 5+ to 7 Years
