You as a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, MEA will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. You will be leading the Talent Acquisition team and ensure effective talent acquisition through identification, attraction, and recruitment in line with the company’s business needs.
Your responsibilities:
Managing the relationship with external providers (head hunting agencies, temporary worker agencies, etc.) for Middle East and Africa Hub, including contracting, escalations and evaluation of the relationship.
Developing thoughtful, comprehensive, position-specific search strategies that leverage best practice recruiting methodologies. Preparing candidate information packages incl. position profiles, resumes, interview guides and assessment forms for distribution to hiring managers.
Managing different recruitment channels, compares effectiveness of the channels, formulates best practices.
Sharing best practices from assigned geography within global Talent Acquisition team, introduces and tests new developments from other regions.
Ensuring high level quality recruitment and customer satisfaction across area of reasonability.
Analyzing resumes for executive or management roles for relevant skills, knowledge, and qualifications, conduct screening interviews, assist hiring managers with interviews, test or rank candidates, check references and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
Qualifying candidates for current or future openings in executive/management roles. Working hand in hand with talent management and ensuring internal talent bench strength to be developed according to companies needs and serve as source of internal candidates.
Working with executive search firms or other placement agencies to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool.
Forecasting future hiring needs. Identifying talent on the market and build a pipeline of candidates for future vacancies. Understanding talent supply and demand dynamics in the countries of responsibility and help develop hiring plan together with business and HR.
Working with HR Operations team on onboarding process improvements, monitors employee satisfaction with the onboarding.
Leading, directing, evaluating and developing a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to ensure that the organization’s talent acquisition strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.
Ensuring compliance with talent acquisition process standards and best practices. Driving diversity and inclusion via the Talent Acquisition process.
Collecting and providing ongoing feedback to team as well as management. Suggesting new ideas for improving talent acquisition team and research for trends. Keeping close alignment and collaboration with the global Talent Acquisition lead.
Manage university relations, set strategy and run early talent events
Execute recruitment marketing campaigns, local job boards and monitor brand perception.
Lead and drive local Employer Brand events, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion activities

Your Background:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the area of Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or similar
Experience in leading talent acquisition programs and teams, passionate in the area of talent acquisition, employer branding and sourcing
Demonstrating success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, as well as good candidate market understanding, and knowledge of supply of certain competencies
Proven customer and service orientation.
Knowledge of relevant tools (CRM, ATS, etc.) and experience leveraging the tools to source candidates as well as manage relationships.
Knowledge of Privacy laws (GDPR and others)
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
