Senior Logistics Specialist
UAE, Dubai
Job Description
This role will be the primary interface between Galderma planning teams for Middle East and the regional distribution center located in Jebel Ali. The role will cover a span of activities that include Inventory Management and Control, Systems Interface and Master Data, Cost Governance and Approval (Operations), and Customer service operations for outbound (Ax).
Job Responsibilities
Ensure stock accuracy between M3, WMS and Planning systems through daily checks. Troubleshoot and fix IT errors related to EDI transaction errors
Ensure Blueway (Middleware) is running correctly, and transactions are being processed between WMS and M3 Systems correctly
Custodian of Master Data in ERP, Master Data (Internal) repositories and external WMS
Identify data integrity errors, raise tickets and follow till completion to ensure smooth operation of M3
Maintain trackers and scorecards related to Hellmann (Local 3PL) operations (Cost and Productivity).
Own and maintain integrity of the Inbound Process for the Distribution Hub. Validate operational invoices from suppliers by working with relevant stakeholders and ensure timely payments.
Organize and ensure the administrative management of orders from their reception until product delivery to customers (Ax BU).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree.
Fluent English oral and written communication skills.
Arabic fluency will be an advantage
3-4 years of Working experience of Logistics & Shipping operations in the GCC or MENA.
Hands on experience with Inventory management systems and Inventory Keeping for complex Business units
Ability to build rapport with external stakeholders.
Ability to navigate across multiple IT Systems and derive data from Inventory and transaction reports.
Ability to read, analyse and interpret insurance terms, custom regulations and letter of credits
Ability to Navigate CRM and ERP interfaces and understand INCOTERMS
Skill and ability to operate a computer and work extensively with EXCEL, WORD and OUTLOOK
Skill and ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadline.
