The Chemistry and Immunoassay Product Specialist – MEA for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to provide ongoing support of the product portfolio including, customer demos & presentations, sales materials developments and training deployment, materials management, business development in pre-sales cycle, supporting with new product introduction, collecting forecasts, product marketing plan deployment and assisting with tenders.
This position is part of the Chemistry and Immunoassay Product Specialist located in Dubai and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the MEA Marketing team and report to the Chemistry and Immunoassay Product Manager responsible work closely with the regional marketing, product management and commercial teams to assist with the strategic growth of Beckman Coulter’s laboratory presence in MEA through implementing the chemistry and immunoassay strategies in the local markets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with operating units to provide training & consultation to sale teams on the technical issues surrounding products
Design promotional tools for sales promotion activities and build branding panels used in multifaceted tradeshows, conference, etc.
Plan and prioritize resources for all product marketing strategies to ensure that they are being effectively carried out
Conduct market and product opportunity assessment, and provide support for strategic new business opportunities
Develop a publication plan to build up a scientific share of voice on products
Monitor market trend, collect information on driven products that may influence short-term & long-term brand strategy
Work well with other internal departments or external organizations to help achieve overall business goals and objectives
Handle your customers by applications and with high social skills & own generation of Voice of Customer (VOC)
The essential requirements of the job include:
Requires knowledge and skills normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in medical technology, clinical diagnostics or life science.
5 years Product Management experience in clinical diagnostics chemistry and Immunoassay including technologies, applications, science and markets.
The incumbent will have excellent presentation abilities, social skills as well as analytical, project management & planning skills.
IVD market assessment, voice of customer research, sales tools/messaging and/or future trend analysis (payer, gov’t policy, clinical practice, etc.)
Experience with SFDC or CRM platform.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong Communication skills.
Strong internal and external networking skills with ability to develop and enhance long term.
Problem solving and negotiation.
