Key Responsibilities:
Develop processes and valuation models for actuarial input for IFRS 17 accounts for local and group reporting
Active participation in developing / streamlining the future global reserving process
Involvement in quarterly and year-end closing process (IFRS and Solvency II)
Develop, review, interpret and / or summarise financial results / projections
Support the risk function as required, e.g. involvement in capital modelling analyses
Interaction with Allianz Group Centres
Support communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. senior management, Reserve Committee, external auditors, local regulator, etc.)
Lead special projects as assigned

Qualification:
Actuarial qualification (SAI, IFoA, DAV, ACAS or similar), or close to achieving actuarial qualification
University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field
Advanced command of written and spoken English is required

Experience & Key Skills:
3+ years of P&C actuarial reserving experience, reinsurance experience is an advantage
Strong Excel and Access skills, SAS and ResQ experience an advantage
Advanced knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II accounting principles and reporting requirements and experience working with these accounting / regulatory frameworks
Ability to communicate effectively and work under time pressure to meet deadlines, while retaining attention to detail
Ability to work as a team player within a global multi-cultural team environment
