Job Title: Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Experience: 5-Star or 4-Star Hotel Background

Responsibilities: As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the following:

Production of High-Quality Pastries: Execute and oversee the preparation of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring they meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.

Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and the culinary team in developing innovative and seasonally inspired pastry menus that align with the hotels culinary vision.

Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to guarantee the freshness, taste, and consistency of all pastry items served to our guests.

Kitchen Management: Efficiently manage the pastry section, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to junior pastry staff, assisting in their training and development to ensure a cohesive and skilled team.

Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and HACCP guidelines.

Collaboration: Work closely with other culinary departments to coordinate and execute seamless service, contributing to a harmonious and collaborative working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a reputable 5-star or 4-star hotel.
Culinary degree or relevant qualification.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and current industry trends.
Creative flair and ability to contribute to menu development.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a diverse team.
