      About the role

      The primary purpose of this position is to ensure accurate warranty claiming and provide robust support for parts inquiries within our expansive dealer network. This role encompasses meticulous review of submitted warranty claims, comprehensive warranty training and guidance for dealers, warranty audits, efficient management of recall and service campaign processes, and dedicated assistance to dealers in resolving parts-related issues together with the parts distribution centre.

      Through your guidance, mentorship, and warranty expertise, you will contribute significantly to the growth and success of Lotus. Join us on this exciting journey as we transform the automotive industry and define the future of performance cars.

      Key responsibilities include:

      Provide comprehensive support for warranty and parts-related inquiries from 20 importer markets, ensuring efficient and responsive service.
      Meticulously review, assess, and process dealer submitted warranty claims with precision, adhering to company standards and policies.
      Deliver in-depth training and guidance to dealers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to enhance warranty claim accuracy and improve parts understanding.
      Conduct systematic warranty audits, identifying opportunities for improvement and formulating action plans to elevate warranty claim accuracy.
      Efficiently manage recall and service campaign communication with dealers, monitoring and ensuring high completion rates.
      Expertly handle Goodwill inquiries, aligning responses with company policies and maintaining brand integrity.
      Offer dedicated support for parts inquiries from the dealer network, coordinating seamlessly with the Parts Distribution Center (PDC) teams in the UK and China.
      Innovate and implement processes aimed at optimizing warranty and parts support, streamlining operations for maximum efficiency.
      Collaborate and liaise with engineering, quality, and technical support teams when necessary to address complex warranty and technical issues, ensuring effective resolutions.
      Periodically review and update market rates, including warranty labour rates and landed cost factors.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

      Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business discipline. (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar)
      Proven work experience in the automotive industry.
      Automotive Dealer or OEM experience.
      Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and warranty policies and procedures.
      Exceptional analytical capabilities and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex warranty and parts-related issues.
      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      Proficiency in relevant software and Microsoft Office applications.
      In-depth technical knowledge of automotive parts and warranty processes.
      Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in warranty claims and parts support.
      Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and technical support.
      Strong desire to learn and progress.
