The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing airfreight products, services, and solutions for our commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage airfreight products, services, and solutions to meet customer needs and increase revenue.
- Create and implement airfreight pricing and rate structures.
- Identify and develop new airfreight opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze airfreight market trends and customer demand.
- Develop and manage relationships with airfreight carriers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts with airfreight carriers and vendors.
- Develop and manage customer service strategies for airfreight products and services.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the airfreight department.
- Monitor and analyze airfreight performance and customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage and maintain the airfreight budget.
- Train and mentor airfreight team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve airfreight performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in airfreight management.
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
