General Cashier
Rixos Hotel Marina Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Cashier to join our dynamic finance team. As a General Cashier, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial transactions of our hotel.

What you will be doing:

Processing guest payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Preparing and maintaining accurate daily cash reports and reconciliations.
Handling petty cash disbursements and reimbursements.
Assisting with the preparation of bank deposits and reconciling discrepancies.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial record keeping.
Maintaining a secure and organized cash-handling environment.
Providing exceptional customer service to guests and addressing any payment-related inquiries.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Your experience and skills include:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Previous experience in cash handling, preferably in a hospitality or luxury environment.
Proficiency in using financial software and point-of-sale systems.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Integrity and a strong sense of responsibility in handling financial transactions.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
