Dublin Health Services Management & Investment Job Description at a Glance:

• • Job Responsibilities:To Follow and maintain policies & procedures for international patient safety goal
    There shall be at all times a direct, continual and close supervisory relationship between the Anesthesia Technician and the supervising anesthesiologist.The supervising anesthesiologist shall, at all times, be responsible for the activities of the Anesthesia Technician
    To administer anesthesia under the direct supervision of a qualified anesthesiologist. This includes injecting intravenous anesthesia and anesthesia related medicines after double confirmation with the anesthesiologist regarding the right dose and route of the medicine.
    To perform initial CPR/ACLSin life threatening situations as directed by a physician or protocol until the supervising anesthesiologist arrives. For example, if code blue was announced in inpatient department.
    To keep the patient monitored according to the standard monitoring requirements by ASA from the moment of preinduction assessment till endorsing the patient to the recovery room nurse. Then the patient will be kept monitored by the recovery room nurse.
    To assist inserting invasive monitoring tools as central venous catheter and or arterial lines whenever indicated by the supervising anesthesiologist.
    Job Qualification:

    To meet licensing requirements by HAAD as an Anesthesia Technician
    Diploma in Anesthesia with atleast (3) years of studies
    Years of experience after obtaining the Diploma in Anesthesia.
