Job Description: Senior Business Development Engineer
Business Development:
· Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
· Building business relationships with current and potential clients
· Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
· Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
· Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
· Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
· Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
· Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration
· Securing and closing new MEP and building maintenance contracts in Abu Dhabi.
· Job costing, tenders, pricing and commercial documentation.
· BD Executive is involved in both strategic planning & day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises.
· Procurement and contract management, Maintenance & operation, Asset Management, Planning and Engineering, Contracts Management, Client Help Desks, Cost & performance Management, building trades and grounds maintenance; Cleaning & security; Utilities and communications infrastructure; Space management.
· A strong understanding of M&E and hard and soft FM services as well a comprehensive appreciation of the tender process with regards to commercial and public sector procurement are also key attributes you will need to demonstrate
· Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
· BD Executive is also involved in the following activities;
o Preparing documents to put out tenders
o Project management and supervising and coordinating work.
o Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
o Coordinating with vendors in preparation of the tender/quotations.
o Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
o Direct and oversee the activities of FM Business Development Department, aiming at identifying, analyzing and recommending specific business opportunities for the profitable growth and diversification of FM.
Operations:
· Generation of reports on all activities and update in relation to any arising concerns, issues or maintenance work required.
· Vendor Negotiations & Management – Manage all third-party service Contractors to ensure service delivery per the contractual terms and within pre – approved annual budgets. Negotiate new agreements and renewals on behalf of Company as/when needed.
· Manage warranties and defect liability administrations for Equipment.
· To ensure operation of electrical systems are being carried out as per the standard procedures by the technicians
· Monitoring, allotments of job and monitoring activities of the technicians on the allotted jobs.
· Issuing of tools and materials to the technicians and ensure the work is carried out in a proper manner.
· Plan the next day’s activities / projects and to ensure all the material and tools are available.
· Ensure proper safety precaution are taken and to make sure permission has been obtained from the concerned management staff before carrying out break down calls and other repairs.
· Ensure the technician during his duty timing is following standard safety practices.
· Formulation and Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for the above
· Review of technical issues
· Discussion with Management for reviewing the problems and resolving the issues related to Facilities
· Vendor Selection Process will be managed by the Facility Supervisor together with Facility Manager.
· Supervise and check all MEP according to the client’s requirements including the inspected condition of the machines.
· Plan and monitor the manpower requirements, tools & equipment, and materials required on site to carry out the work as planned
· Submits monthly management reports according to what is inspected all throughout the month
Requirements and Qualifications
· Engineering Degree / Graduate with MBA in Marketing or Sales with min. 5-6 yrs of exp. in UAE
· Proven Sales experience within Facility Management in Real Estate industry in Abu Dhabi
· Vast exposure to Facilities Management practices & solutions.
· Solid awareness of HS&E guidelines, asset & space & cost management.
· Should have working knowledge / rules & regulation/approval processing with Real Estate Authority, Municipality, Civil Defense & other governmental authorities in Abu Dhabi
· Experience with lead generation and prospect management
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
· Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
· Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
· Three to Four years of cold calling experience; previous experience in an outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
· Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
· Arabic Speaking a must
· UAE driving license a must
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED8,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
