NIMS Job Description at a Glance:

    • School Principal/Vice Principal UAE – Abu Dhabi/Dubai

      To meet our expanding operations of schools across the UAE, we are seeking to bring on board Principals for our upcoming schools, in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

      Educational professional with previous experience with CBSE syllabus and working experience with KHDA/ADEK will be given preference. A minimum of Five (5) years of hands on experience, in a whole school, operations from academics to administration in a senior profile.

      The role will involve providing directives to the instructional process with specific responsibility towards assigned programs and services for the whole school; exclusively in the day-to-day operations in relation to students and faculty as a whole.

      Will be accountable for

      Overseeing the day to day operation of the entire school
      Serving staff, students and parents to ensure that efforts are focused to achieve the vision
      Monitoring, evaluating and improving on all aspects of the school operations towards achieving the objectives of the institution.
      Managing staff and resources with efficiency.
      Contributing to (with other members of the Senior Management Team):
      the strategic direction and development of the school
      the efficient and effective development of staff and resources.

      · Ensure the school has an appropriate and inclusive curriculum
      with a strong commitment to the vision, mission and short term and long goals.

      Put in place an effective process to implement the performance management policy
      Strong leadership on the Quality Assurance processes to ensure they are transparent and lead to improvement objectives and goals.
      Coordinate with senior and middle level leaders to ensure the school has a self-evaluating system with robust systems of accountability.
      Maintaining the school’s excellent relationships with all stakeholders and continue to enhance its excellent reputation
      Excellent standards of behavior, attendance and achievement for all students with their active participation in the process.
      Direct line management and accountability of both senior and middle leaders.
      Put in place values-driven leadership across the school
      Working with the entire school leadership on staff appointments, taking into account the relevant employment legislation and school operational requirements.
      Ensure regular monitoring of staff attendance, absence and time keeping.
      Leading the school Improvement Planning and self-evaluation processes, at the highest levels at all times.
      Ensuring that systems are efficient and fit for purpose to manage the school’s involvement in a range of networks
      Sustaining the school ethos of respect for the individual, hard work, and celebration of achievement
      Providing a teaching commitment at a level consistent with the needs of the school
      Undertake any professional duties as delegated by the Management.
      Qualifications:

      Masters Degree in Education, certification or equivalent
      Graduation in Science or Arts.
      Minimum four years of supervisory and administrative experience
      Minimum five years’ middle leadership experience
      Special Knowledge/Skills

      Successful experience working in a leadership role in education
      Working knowledge of curriculum, professional development and assessment
      Deep knowledge of the CBSE/Kerala Board curriculum practices, particularly with High School experience, within India/ADEK/KHDA.
      Excellent skills in communicating and collaborating with staff and parents
      Excellent skills in supervising and evaluating staff
      Classroom experience at the secondary level
      Working knowledge of KG-12 level curriculum and its inherent unique attributes
      Bring an imaginative approach to solving problems and be a good communicator, while working cooperatively with those of differing views.
      It is essential that all applicants are qualified in line with both ADEK/KHDA requirements with an in depth working knowledge of CBSE/Kerala Board curriculum schools in an international context.

      The package for our senior leaders would range from :

      Salary: 15000-20000 AED per month
      Medical Insurance for employee only
      Annual economy airfare allowance to place of origin for employee only.
      Annual leave of 45 days in the Academic calendar.
      Job Type: Full-time

      Salary: AED15,000.00 – AED20,000.00 per month

      Ability to commute/relocate:

      Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
      Experience:

      UAE ADEK/KHDA: 5 years (Required)
      MLT Leadership in UAE: 5 years (Required)
